Project: Student Life LJMU
Sector: Education
In May 2023, Truline was appointed to carry out the University Fit Out for the Counselling & Mental Health Hub in the Student Life Building at Liverpool John Moores University. The existing hub offered limited privacy and meeting space, so the brief was to enhance user confidentiality both acoustically and visually. Despite the building being occupied during the works, we phased the project to ensure minimal disruption to staff and students.
The scope of works included:
– Stud and glazed partition installation
– Acoustics throughout
– Glazed doors
– Access control systems
– M&E alterations
The client expressed their satisfaction, stating, “Truline have been a pleasure to work with on a scheme that has brought challenges in terms of location and whilst also working in a live University campus. The end results of the refurbishment works in the Student Life Building are fantastic and the university will get lots of use from the new more private areas.”
