Project: St Aloysius Catholic Primary School
Sector: Education
Truline were appointed as main contractor to deliver a major refurbishment and remodelling project at St Aloysius Catholic Primary School in Liverpool. The £2.1m programme was delivered in phases within a live educational environment, allowing the school to remain operational throughout the works.
Temporary accommodation was installed to enable teaching to continue safely while refurbishment works were carried out across the school.
The works included the following:
- Asbestos removal
- Strip out works
- Window and door replacements
- Drainage repairs and alterations
- Mechanical and electrical services replacement
- External works including a new main entrance
- Internal partitions
- Ceilings
- Roof works
- Flooring
- Decoration
- Kitchen installations
- WC refurbishments
The project required careful planning to meet tight school holiday programmes, including asbestos removal, fire alarm installation and temporary heating and water solutions. Installation of four large temporary classrooms within the restricted school footprint also required detailed logistics planning.
“Truline delivered the large refurbishment project at our school to an excellent standard under a highly challenging and compressed programme. The works were carefully coordinated to ensure the school remained safe and operational for the start of term and throughout the term.
The team demonstrated exceptional planning, site management and collaboration throughout. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the finished works and would not hesitate to recommend Truline for future projects.”
