Project: Moot Court

As a partner contractor for the University, we were appointed to refurbish an existing space on campus and provide a Moot Courtroom, incorporating bespoke joinery to enhance the space. This area is used by the School of Law to offer state-of-the-art teaching facilities in a replica courtroom experience. The project was delivered in a live environment within the busy MMU Business School, requiring safe segregation to allow access and egress adjacent to the works area due to the busy pedestrian route through the campus. The scope of works included:

– Ceilings, stud and glazed partitioning
– Folding partition walls
– Lead-lined walls
– Medical gas installation
– Laboratory furniture
– HVAC alterations
– M&E
– Lighting
– Decoration
– Flooring
The client expressed their satisfaction, stating, “From the top down it has been a pleasure working with Truline and Matt Hepworth in particular has been outstanding. No issue has been too much to deal with and the flexibility and early starts associated with furniture deliveries have been pivotal to the success of the project.
